Although the blade flexes nicely, the teeth are set to both sides. A true flush-cut saw has teeth that are set to one side only, the alternate teeth being straight. This allows one side of the blade to ride completely flush against the wood without any teeth marking the surface of the wood. If used carefully on soft wood this Zona saw should give reasonable results, however.
